If you trusted Christ as a teen or adult:

· What was your life like before you came to Christ? What was most
important to you?  How did you pursue happiness?  Where did you get your security?  What was going on inside of you?

· When did you first hear the gospel and what was your initial response?  What about it did you find interesting or appealing?  What made you “lean in” vs. walking away?

· What was it that convinced you to give your life to Christ?  Can you
describe the actual experience?  Were there any obstacles to overcome?

· How has your life been different since trusting Christ—maybe in how you act or see things, or in what you value?  How do these changes relate to your answer to the first question?

· What themes, feelings, or issues are a part of your story (both good and bad) that someone who doesn’t know Jesus might connect with?

If you trusted Christ when you were young:

· Describe your experience of learning about Jesus and deciding to trust Him as your Savior and invite Him into your life.  What were the details, and what led you up to that point?

· How has your life been impacted by that decision?  How do you see your life as different as what might have been?  What are the best things about following Jesus?

· When did your faith come alive for you?  Were there any pivotal
moments where you experienced Christ in new ways or made significant decisions or took noteworthy faith steps?

· What are the significant issues that you have dealt with in your life—
and how has your faith affected those issues?

· What themes, feelings, or issues are a part of your story (both good and bad) that someone who doesn’t know  Jesus might connect with?

--> Once you have answered these questions, try writing out your story.
It might be helpful to craft an outline or to create bullet points.

--> Focus specifically on how Jesus changed your life, or on how your faith became real to you.
