Peace in the Future
Isaiah 2:1-5
Proclaimed, but encourages proclamation.
"For the creation waits with eager longing for the revealing of the children of God." Romans 8:19
Instruction should never be read as rules but rather desire.
"The mountain of the LORD's house..." means the church.
"You are the light of the world. A city built on a hill cannot be hid." -Matthew 5:14
This is the purpose of church: to motivate others to desire to ascend.
Jesus becomes the mountain the nations will stream to.
We proclaim peace by
- Announcing the birth of Christ
- Living out "God with Us"
- Promoting peace among all
