2. To explore our spiritual heritage.
3. To examine some spiritual practices.
4. To experience spiritual formation.
Why the church?
The church is the primary means of corporate spiritual formation.
1. By means of evangelism.
2. By means of doctrine.
3. By means of the ordinances.
4. By means of worship.
How we are formed:
1. Worship forms us by fixing our eyes on God rather than ourselves.
2. The Word forms us by immersing our minds and hearts with truth.
3. Ordinances form us by reminding us of our identity and purpose.
