The Tales of the Trees

We've been exploring some simple Christmas Tree stories this season, identifying some situations that they suggest that are Christmas-oriented, and then looking at what the Bible says about them.  It's been a fun "read."

• We've heard the story of Maple and Willow's Christmas tree - and talked about how to navigate relationships during the holidays.
    
• We've heard the story of Bruce the Spruce, the Christmas Pageant tree - and the importance of prioritizing the backstage parts of our lives in the midst of the seasonal hoopla.
    
• We've heard the story of Rabbit and the Perfect Tree - and what we can learn from Jesus about dealing with expectations.
    
• We've heard the story of the Christmas Tree Ship - a true story that reminds us what it means to be generous.
    
• And on Christmas Eve we will hear one more story - the Miracle Trees - and talk about what "God With Us" actually means.
