First Five / Final Five:

- Take the first five minutes of each day to READ God’s Word, and the final five minutes of your day to REFLECT on God’s Work in your life.

The Big Idea:

· In your own words, how would you summarize the main idea of the message?

From the Message:

· How does understanding who God is and what He is like help us live our lives better?

· What are your real priorities in life?  How can you know what they are?  What things seem to want to become priorities?

· Which of the things that Moses prayed for do you feel like you most need to pray for as well?

From Scripture:

· From vs.15— Moses asks God to give joyful days to equal the days of pain.  What afflictions have you experienced in life?  How might God somehow restore those days to you—or give you new days that are somehow increased in significance? (See also Joel 2:25)

Think it through / Talk it over:

· On an 80-year timeline, where are you right now?  How do you most hope to use the time that you have left?

· What are your struggles with time?  Not having enough?  Not using it well?  Not making the most of it?  Can you give an example?

· If you were to list your priorities in life, what would they be?  How closely does your schedule support your list?

· What are some things that you could do to make your day(s) more profitable?  (And what exactly makes a day profitable?)

Take a Step:

- Truth transforms us only as we take action.  What is that one step you need to take?
