We want to do all we can to help you understand what a visit to WCC would be like. You might still have questions though, and we can help. Send us an email, a phone call, or connect with us on social media and we’d be happy to help.
What do you have for kids?
We love kids and do our best to provide great learning experiences for them. The nursery is always open on Sundays, and we offer classes for children up to 5th grade that run concurrently with the morning service. A full complement of programs is also offered on Wednesday nights for kids all the way through high school.
We do believe, however, that the greatest spiritual impact on kids happens within the home. Thus, we do all that we can to provide parents with helpful tools for building faith.
Is it handicapped accessible?
Yes, an entry ramp is provided on the south side of the building for those who are not able to do steps. There is also an elevator available should you need to move between floors.
What denomination is a community church?
WCC is non-denominational, which means we are not officially affiliated with any religious organizations. We do, however, have great relationships with our friends at several other Waterford churches, and participate with them in various activities and outreach efforts.
What if I don't have kids?
That’s great, too. WCC is intergenerational and has many people who are single, empty-nesters, young marrieds and grandparents. There is plenty going on for everyone!
How can I get connected?
We try to make it as easy as possible. Every Sunday the bulletin contains a tear-off card to request more information. Drop it at the information desk and we’ll get back to you with the information you requested.
Help! I'm new to the area!
Moving to a new area can be an exciting, yet stressful time. We know looking for a church to call home is just one of the many challenges so we want to help. A look around our website will give you some idea of what we’re like, but a personal visit will give you the best feel for who we are and what we are all about. We are not, however, the only church in town, and we can even connect you to other options if WCC is not a fit for you. Our goal is to get you involved with a faith community that can be a home for your family.
We have been around Waterford for a long time and can point you in the right direction for whatever needs you might have: doctors and medical facilities, school options, even the best places to shop and eat. Call us (248.623.1340) or send an email, and we’ll help.
