Let's be honest. If Sunday morning church is the only investment that you make in your spiritual life during the week, you are not going to grow much in your faith. The goal is for Sunday to be a launch pad or starting line for the week - and for you to leverage the morning to get some spiritual momentum going.

In today's world we have many tools to keep the momentum going, things like books and websites and videos and apps and even online Bible studies and commentaries. We have so many resources. But sorting through them can be hard. Then actually finding the time to make use of them is another challenge. So, here's an idea. Give it a listen!

Many, many books are now on platforms where you can listen to them rather than having to read them. Additionally, there are dozens and dozens of podcasts available for you to listen to as well. Instead of listening to the radio while you are driving, try a podcast. When you are getting ready in the morning, turn on a book.
I try to listen when I go for a run. (Added bonus: It distracts me from the discomfort I am experiencing while running!)

Recently I have been listening to a series of podcasts that I am recommending.  It was done by Tim Keller, a pastor/author in NYC, and it's called Questioning Christianity. It was taped as a live event where people in his church invited their secular friends to join them for a discussion comparing Christianity to other religions and faith structures in today's world. He covers topics like meaning, satisfaction, identity, justice and hope (the podcast on hope seems especially pertinent as Keller recently lost his battle with cancer). It's really, really good.

Give it a listen - and grow as you go.
