the roundup
TonightWCC is more than just Sunday mornings. And Wednesday nights are a big part of our overall effort to disciple our kids. We have programs for K-12 happening tonight, and they all start at 6:30 p.m. Come early and enjoy the family dinner starting at 5:45 p.m. Unless, of course, we cancel (Note we have canceled). Then you will have to eat at home.
The BoBB
That stands for Band of Brothers Breakfast (where burritos will be served - BoBBB?). It’s for all men in the church, and comes your way at 8:00 a.m. on Saturday, February 4. Good food, good conversations.
Connection Café
If you are new or newer to WCC and would like to get more info, or maybe you have some questions you’d like to get answers to, or maybe you just want to know that best way to connect with people or get more involved, then the Café is your next step. On Sunday, February 5, we will be offering our next Café complete with a continental breakfast. Please let us know if you would like to attend.
Re|engage (READ THIS)
If you are married and really love your mate, and haven’t taken the re|engage class, you really should. No exceptions. And if you are not really loving your mate right now, you definitely need to take it. If you’re unsure of its value, just ask any couple who have participate (and there now have been more than 25 couples who have been through the course). Our next session starts Wednesday, February 8, at 6:30 p.m. We need you to sign up ahead of time as space is limited.
This is not just for people in our church. If you know of friends or family who would be helped by this, please invite them for us! And it's a great way to introduce people to WCC!
Senior’s Valentine Lunch
If you are part of the mature crowd, you are invited to a special Valentine’s Lunch at Fino’s on Wednesday, February 8, at noon. You can sign up in the lobby at church. And if you need a ride, we can help you out!
Souper Sunday
The 2nd Sunday in February really doesn’t mean much to those of us who live in Detroit and cheer for the local team, but it is the big day when we bring out our soups and enjoy lunch together. So make up your favorite soup recipe and bring it on out! (The soup, not the recipe
