round up

Craft Night It's a special night in Kidzlife tonight - it's craft night! (Parents are welcomed to join the fun.) It all starts at 6:30 p.m. I don't think that the Rock or REACH will be doing crafts, and I'm very certain that re|engage will not be doing crafts, but it will still be a great night in all of our programs. And you can come early for dinner starting at 5:45. Men's breakfast We have close to twenty guys signed up for breakfast this coming Saturday!

what we're all about

Generosity

Things are a little tighter financially right now.  Groceries cost more, the price of gas is up, so hopefully the winter coat can last another year.  But even if inflation is taking a bite out of the budget, we still have so much, don't we?  And we still need to live generously.  We have two great opportunities for you. Turkey Drive We are partnering again with New Springfield Church to provide turkeys so that needy families in our community

The story of you! For the past several weeks we have been talking about one of the greatest stories ever written - yours! And we have explored topics like what your story actually is, how God has created you to live into and to live out your story, how to recognize the ways that experiences and environments have shaped you (and how to respond), and even how to recognize the damage that sin can do to your story. As a follow up, here are some questions y

Write good things. Have you been able to make use of our journal? It’s a simple way for you to keep track of your spiritual progress for this coming year. You can use it as a prayer journal – either to keep a prayer list or to write out your prayers. You can use it as a companion guide when you do your personal Bible reading to record thoughts or even verses that speak to you. You can use it to respond to the messages on Sunday, or to record spiritual decisions you ma

lesson plans Thursday, August 25 - Grayson School Meet and Greet One of the toughest jobs in today's world is teaching. Not only do teachers have to work during the day, they usually have to take work home to be prepared for the next day. And while teachers are specifally asked to teach, they also are often asked to parent. They welcome all kinds of kids into their classrooms, many of whom carry much more to school than can be loaded in a backpack. So how about a shout

the round up  Build this House! It was actually Solomon who penned Psalm 127. And he expresses a great truth in the first verse. "Unless the Lord builds a house the laborers work in vain." In other words, all of our efforts in life mean little without God's help - and that includes our WCC efforts. That's why once each month we take a Saturday morning to pray. This is a simple yet very meaningful opportunity for all of us to invest in the ministry of WCC. We would
